“[I’ll] let her do her thing and if she ever needs me, I’m gonna be here for her,” said Bieber as he wiped tears from his eyes. “Just protecting those moments because people take for granted encounters. I just wanna protect her, you know? I don’t want her to lose it. I don’t want her to go through anything I went through. I don’t wish that upon anybody. So if she ever needs me, I’m just a call away.”

In the past year, Eilish has reached an unprecedented level of success and fame in the music industry. In the last month alone she swept the four major categories at the Grammys, performed at the Oscars, and released the new James Bond theme song for the upcoming film No Time To Die.

Eilish is still a teenage girl and she has been incredibly candid about her love of Bieber, which was strong before she became famous. Eilish is such a big fan of Bieber that she shared their first contact via social media in March 2019. After Bieber followed her on Twitter, Eilish revealed that the Canada native DMed her a screenshot of a message she sent him in 2014.

Eilish said it was “crazy” and “embarrassing,” but she insisted she only sent him one message despite having a fan account. Billie Eilish said she didn’t want to bother Justin Bieber, and she remembers not DMing him “for months and months and months.”
