John Krasinski and Emily Blunt Welcome Baby Girl

It seems congratulations are in order! John Krasinski and Emily Blunt have welcomed their second child, a daughter named Violet.

The Office star took to Twitter this July fourth to announce the birth of the newest addition to the Krasinski-Blunt household. Back in January a rep confirmed that the couple were expecting and, according to Krasinski’s tweet, she was welcomed to the world two weeks ago.

Blunt made a stunning first baby-bumped appearance at this year’s Oscars in February and followed up her celebrity Mum status with a baby shower hosted by her The Huntsman: Winter’s War co-star Charlize Theron.

Krasinski and his Devil Wears Prada better half wed back in 2010 after two years of dating and have one other daughter together called Hazel, who was born in early 2014. It was on Twitter they announced the arrival of baby number one, too.

Typically quiet where their children are concerned, it might be a while before we get a glimpse at baby number two, but if she’s anything like her big sis we’re willing to bet she’s gorgeous.
