Ifeanyi Festus Ezeli-Ndulue, a professional basketball player who is Nigerian-American, was brought forth on October 21, 1989.

Ezeli, one of five kids, said this in an interview with ESPN.com’s Andy Katz from 2011: “My parents told me I was an odd child.

The meaning of my first name, Ifeanyi, is “nothing is impossible with God.” The tone for my trip while I’m still alive is established by that.

He focused on his studies, finishing high school at the age of 14, and had aspirations of becoming a doctor.

In 2004, his parents moved him to live with his doctor uncle in Yuba City, California, to advance his professional aspirations.

Ezeli’s uncle urged him to play basketball, which appeared like the best sport for a 6’8″ (2.03 m) adolescent shortly after he arrived in Yuba City.

Although he had played soccer as a child, this proved to be far more challenging for him than academics. He had never participated in any organized sports.
