Cody Rhodes accused of disregarding a fans wife and making her feel TERRIBLE only to take picture

Fan moments and crowd atmosphere are what make WWE what it is today. How the crowd engages to a promo or interact with a superstar makes or breaks the show. The odds of getting face-to-face interaction with your favorite superstar is higher in live events than weekly programming. In one such recent WWE live event, a fan alleged Cody Rhodes of disregarding his wife’s polite request.

WWE recently held a house show in Springfield, Missouri. The Undisputed Tag Team Champions defended their titles in the show. After the match, Rhodes went to interact with the WWE Universe, like he usually does. However, it appears that the champion inadvertently disappointed a female fan and her husband. The female fan’s husband took to his X and accused Cody of taking picture with a pretty girl and ignoring his wife’s request in the process.

Expressing his annoyance, the fan wrote, “kind of wished you hadn’t ignored my wife after taking a picture with a pretty girl tonight. It made her feel terrible for the rest of the night… not cool dude. She was sitting right next to the kid you gave your belt tonight with the red hair,” tagging Rhodes.

The American Nightmare was quick to take notice of the tweet. Apologizing to the fan, Cody replied that it’s not purposely done. Furthermore, he explained that wrestlers usually try to engage with as many fans as possible in a limited time, as they’ve to follow security cues. Showing their support for Rhodes, several fans criticized the other fan for acting too entitled.

Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso pulled off Otis’ trademark caterpillar move

Less than a month ago, WWE formed the makeshift tag team of Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso. The two went on to capture the tag team titles at WWE Fastlane. After another successful title defense at a recently held live event, Jey and Cody, emulated Alpha Academy’s Otis’ famous caterpillar move.

The Undisputed Tag Team Champions defended their titles against Imperium and Alpha Academy in Springfield, Missouri. After the match, Otis, Chad Gable and Maxxine Dupri were standing in the ring when the champions performed the latter faction’s signature caterpillar move one-by-one.

A user on X shared a glimpse of the fun moment from the live event. The crowd roared with a loud pop as Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso did the caterpillar at the Great Southern Bank Arena. The duo won the Undisputed Tag Team Championships at Fastlane and is seemingly having the time of their lives in their newfound partnership.
